Homes aren’t on the market for long.
California Association of Realtors® shares the record breaking numbers of how fast homes are being sold once they hit the market.
In 2013 half of all homes were on the market for only 6 weeks or less!
The following is the latest info from California Association of Realtors® “One Cool Thing”:
- 25% of homes were on the market for 1-3 weeks
- 25% of homes were on the market for 4-6 weeks
- 10% of homes were on the market for 7-9 weeks
- 12% of homes were on the market for 10-12 weeks
- 28% of homes were on the market for 13 or more weeks
In 2012, the average time a home stayed on the market was for 26 weeks. In 2013, the number of weeks a home stayed on the market dramatically reduced to only 8.5 weeks.
2013 marks the shortest time homes have sat on the market since 2005!
