Just exactly how often were homes sold for more than the asking price? See below to find out!
- In 2005 about 37% of homes were sold above the original asking price.
- In 2006 about 12% of homes were sold above the original asking price.
- In 2007 about 11% of homes were sold above the original asking price.
- In 2008 about 10% of homes were sold above the original asking price.
- In 2009 about 21% of homes were sold above the original asking price.
- In 2010 about 28% of homes were sold above the original asking price.
- In 2011 about 16% of homes were sold above the original asking price.
- In 2012 about 26% of homes were sold above the original asking price.
- In 2013 about 50% of homes were sold above the original asking price.
2013 saw an all-time high of 50%! This is the highest ever recorded!
