When you move into a new house, it takes a while to make it feel like “home”. The Lawhead Team would like to share some tips to making a house a home.
Use the space in your home– Spend quality time with friends and family in your home. Watch TV, make dinner, paint a picture, do anything that makes you interact with your home. Break the home from work straight to dinner right to bed routine and embrace your hobbies and habits in your home.
Spend time in your home – Achieve that feeling of safe harbor within your walls by spending time in your home. Find peace and comfort in your homeby taking time to relax with a good book or soak in the Jacuzzi.
Make your home a kind and loving place – Homes are places where love and memories are made. Your tone, attitude and spirit go a long way to make your environment one that is comforting and a refuge away from everything else.
Listen to music – Turn up the jams in your home. Some of the strongest memories you can make involve music. Crank up the tunes while making dinner or turn off the TV and enjoy each others company by listening to music.
Don’t apologize for your home– Spend time with others in your home enjoying it just how it is right now. Don’t apologize for things you need to fix or if there is dust on the shelves. Just let go and enjoy being in your home.
